Nepal CRS Company is a Social Marketing Organization engaged in Family Planning, Maternal Child Health, Adolescent Reproductive Health and other health products and service intervention in Nepal. Its mission is to improve the National Health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services.
Nepal CRS hereby invites applications, for the following position for its packaging unit at Central Warehouse.
Position: Pharmacist Officer (Quality Assurance)
Required no: 1 (One)
Location: Hetauda, Bagmati Province, Nepal.
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for ensuring the re- packaging / manufacturing of family planning and health products at Central Warehouse which meets Company standard and is carried out in line with the quality standard set by the WHO.
S/he will be accountable with setting up of specifications, drawing samples, testing them, and generating initial documentation related to the set criteria of DDA regarding the packaging of Pharma products.
S/he also evaluates the analysis reports and ensures that no material is released for use or supply or sale until it meets the necessary quality requirements and pre-determined specifications.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s in PharmacyMinimum 1 Year experience as Pharmacist officer/ QC officer in Pharma company or relevant organizationNPC Registration Document.
Job Description:
- Quality check of products procured by this Company
- Check all documents pertaining to quality check and assurance (such as lab reports, quality certificates, etc.) received are complete in all aspects prior to receipt of shipments by organization.
- Ensure necessary permissions, quality certificates and licenses are obtained for the goods that are procured by the company itself.
- Supervise the Production and Packaging Process.
- Inspecting, sampling, and testing of all starting materials including packaging materials, intermediate and finished products as per procedures defined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Performing stability testing to assess product stability.
- Monitoring environmental conditions are met as per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.
- Preparing analysis reports for the tested samples, and recording and investigating any results that are Out Of Specifications (OOS).
- Ensuring the finished products meets prescribed quality, safety and efficacy standards.Standardization of all laboratory instruments and devices used in the testing.
- Validation of analytical methods used in the testing.Retaining reference samples from each batch of products released to the market.Reviewing the batch manufacturing and packing records and assessing the test reports to ensure products are of the desired quality and have been properly packed and labeled.
- Participating in any investigation that follows market complaints about the quality of a product.
Note: Candidate must possess NPC Registration number.
