DDA Notice on Renewal of Pharmacy Registration Certificate and Professional Recognition Card – Lumbini Province
The Department of Drug Administration (DDA), under the Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal, has issued an important notice regarding the renewal of Pharmacy Registration Certificates and Professional Recognition Cards at the provincial level.
According to Section 11 of the Drug Act, 2035 (1978), pharmacy registration certificates must be renewed every three year and the Professional Recognition Card must be renewed every five years. This process has been continuing as per existing legal provisions.
Purpose of the Provincial-Level Renewal Program
To reduce the financial burden on service seekers, improve accessibility, address public demand, and make services more service-friendly, the Department has decided to provide on-site renewal services at the provincial level.
As per the decision dated 2082/10/1 8(BS), a special team from the Department of Drug Administration will be deployed to Lumbini Province to carry out:
- Renewal of Pharmacy (Drug Store) Registration Certificates
- Renewal of Professional Recognition Cards
This notice is intended to inform wholesale and retail pharmacy operators and professionals operating in the districts of:
- Rupandehi
- Palpa
- Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West)
- Kapilvastu
- Gulmi
- Arghakhanchi
