Urgent Notice from Nepal Pharmacy Council: Mandatory Update of Registration & Workplace Details
The Nepal Pharmacy Council (NPC) has issued an important and urgent notice for all registered pharmacists and pharmacy assistants regarding the mandatory update of personal and professional details.
According to the Nepal Pharmacy Council Regulation, 2059, Chapter 7, Rule 7.2, any registered pharmacist or pharmacy assistant must inform the Registrar of the Council in writing within one month if they discontinue their profession or change their address. Likewise, as per Rule 7.4 (2), registered professionals are required to regularly update their personal and professional details (such as address, workplace, etc.) and submit them to the Council.
For this purpose, details can be updated by visiting the Council’s website and using the Update Name Registration option to renew/update registration, as well as to update the workplace and other relevant information.
If a pharmacist or pharmacy assistant fails to update these details, the Council shall not be obliged to issue a Certificate of Good Standing or any type of recommendation letter.

Important Warning from NPC
If a pharmacist or pharmacy assistant fails to update the required details, the Nepal Pharmacy Council will not be obliged to issue:
