The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal (GWT (N)) invites applications from all interested and qualified applicants for the below position.

1. Assistant Pharmacist based in AWC Chitwan

Required Qualifications/Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualification of Diploma in Pharmacy and with at least 2 years of work experience after the completion of Diploma in Pharmacy
Current unrestricted registration as an Assistant Pharmacist with Nepal Pharmacy Council (NPC)
Must have good command of both spoken and written English and Nepali
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing multiple tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

The position holder will be responsible for providing support in Pharmacy related Clinical Care and Clinical Governance in his/her Cluster Medical Centres in accordance with all GWT (N) Standards of Medical Service delivery, Quality Standards, Policies and Procedures. S/he will work with the Cluster Pharmacist for the Pharmacy Service delivery and management at Key AWC’s, non-Key AWC’s and patrol bases.

Remunerations:

The position falls in EG2 of our pay structure and will receive a basic monthly salary of NPR.52,484. All other benefits and facilities will be provided as per GWT(N) SI. The job is offered for 3 years initially and may be extended on the basis of need and performance.
