A Prescription of Love
A Prescription of Love Poem written by Bishal Pokhrel
In the world of generics, I will still search for you,
My brand of love, pure and true.Meeting often like Itraconazole, four times a day,
Our love is constant in every possible way.Like DFO gel, I’ll relieve all your pain,
Standing by you in every storm and rain.I’ll be your Ibuprofen, blocking all your pains,
Dancing with you through life’s ups and strains.Like Amlodipine, at morning’s first light,
You bring the beat to my heart so bright. You’re so pharma-cute-ical, my perfect blend,
I’ll love you always, till the end.You must be regulated by the FDA, it’s true,
Because you treat, cure, and prevent my heart from breaking too.Even Pepcid can’t stop my heart burning for you,
Propranolol is red, Digoxin is blue,
My heart skips a beat when I see you.I’m too sweet
you might need Metformin,
To smooth out life
and to calm storms within.Like sunscreen, I will protect you from harmful rays,
Guarding your heart through all of life’s days. Will you help me like Potassium helps Amoxicillin in being CV?
Together, we’ll complete each other’s symphony. Will you fix me like a Cannula fixer, too?
In your arms, I find my glue. Will you be my Medomol, understanding and true?
In any difficult situation, I’ll be there for you.Like Methylcobalamin, will you fill my gaps?
Together we’ll conquer, no need for maps. You and I will live life synergistically,
In your love, I find my identity.
