DDA Notice Regarding Submission of Additional Documents for Pharmacy Registration and Renewal
This notice is issued as a continuation of the implementation of the revised Citizen Charter published by the Department of Drug Administration (DDA).
With the objective of making the pharmacy profession more organized, transparent, and accountable, a new provision has been introduced requiring the recommendation letter from the concerned local government (Local Level) to be submitted as a mandatory document for:
- Registration of new pharmacies, and
- Renewal of registration certificates of pharmacies that are already registered and in operation.
Therefore, all applicants submitting an application for new pharmacy registration or renewal of a pharmacy registration certificate are hereby informed that, in addition to the other documents required under the applicable rules, a recommendation letter from the concerned local government must be attached compulsorily.
This re-notice is published for the information of all pharmacy operators, stakeholders, and the general public, requesting them to comply with this requirement and proceed with the registration or renewal process accordingly.
