DDA Notice Regarding Remdesivir Drug Distribution and Use

Important information regarding the distribution and use of Remdesivir drugs Criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal for the patients of Covid-19 at Covid Hospital As per the import recommendation provided by the DDA today On 2078/1/21 Harmo Medi Concern Pvt. Ltd, Kathmandu to Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Importer of Bemsivir Injection (Remdesivir) 3000 Vials imported from Bangladesh As per the details submitted, the information has been distributed as follows

Remdesivir drug is not required for all types of Covid-19 patients and this drug is Covid. As there is no definite medicine for 19, the department requests the recommending physicians to recommend according to the treatment protocol and encourage the rational use of the medicine. Remdesivir medicine will be available in all the prescribed Covid hospitals in the coming days is done.

In addition, the hospitals that have received the drug must use the drug in the attachments Details must be submitted to the importer and the department. The medicine will not be made available again in the hospitals which have not received the details of use as per Pattern.
