List of Pharmacopoeia official in Nepal

Pharmacopoeia is a comprehensive reference book or standard that contains a collection of authoritative and officially recognized guidelines, specifications, and quality standards for pharmaceutical substances, dosage forms, and medicinal products. These standards are established to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of drugs and pharmaceutical preparations used in healthcare.

Pharmacopoeias serve as essential reference tools for pharmacists, healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, manufacturers, and researchers involved in the development, production, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals. The DDA shall prepare an official Nepal pharmacopoeia and an encyclopedia related to it and this pharmacopoeia and encyclopedia shall come into force after taking approval from the Government of Nepal.
