RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – ANALYTICAL

Quest Pharmaceutical looking for highly enthusiastic, result oriented, dynamic and self-motivated R & D Officer (Analytical) for Research & Development Department who has a strong desire to join and grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for preparing standard test procedures, SOPs, protocols, analytical documents as per cGMP and GLP practices
Makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results
Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses
Develops analytical method as mentioned in different pharmacopeia
Actively take part in the issues related to the quality of the products
Ensuring method verification and validation of ongoing new products and troubleshoot products
Study and understand the guidelines and Pharmacopeia, and implement the current updated practices
Take additional responsibility on R&D matters as directed by the Head of Department

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION EDUCATION

BPharm/ MPharm or equivalent with Nepal Pharmacy Council Registration
MSc. in Pharmaceutical Science/ Chemistry

WORK EXPERIENCES

Candidates having prior experience in related field will be preferred

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Must have good knowledge at developing new analytical method as per the guidelines for solid oral dosage forms, semisolid dosage forms
Must have good knowledge about analytical method validation, verification
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the handling of different instrument such as HPLC, UV spectrometer, Dissolution etc.
Must be capable at handling different problems developed during analysis
Good leadership skills, and is capable at working alone as well as along with team
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as outstanding aptitude for time management

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze pharmaceutical product and pharmaceutical raw materials by chemical method as per the protocol/ pharmacopoeia and produce reports accordingly
Ensures that correct methods have been employed in the analysis and correct reports are produced to QC Head
Carryout stability study on the retained samples as per the schedule
Maintain adequate stock of reagents, chemicals, Equipment accessories and apparatus required for regular analysis of expected samples
Actively take part in the issues related to quality of the products
Take additional responsibility on quality control matters as directed by the Head of Department

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION EDUCATION

BPharm/ MPharm or equivalent with Nepal Pharmacy Council Registration

Department: Quality Assurance

Project Location(s): Chhatapipara, Bara

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in preparation, distribution, review, revision, retrieval, archiving, disposal and other control procedure of various documents like SOPs, guidelines, protocols, specifications, MFPI, BPPR, artwork, etc as desired by the company policy and regulatory compliance.
Monitor assessment and control over GxP Practices like Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory
Practices, Good Storage and Distribution Practices, Good Engineering Practices, Good Documentation Practices etc, for continual regulatory compliance.
Participate in various validations, qualifications and calibration activities ranging from protocol preparation, scheduling, execution, reports etc, as defined in Validation Master Plan.
Maintain current knowledge and updates of relevant GMP regulations, including proposed and final rules & guidelines.
Assure all the practices/procedures and specifications defined in relevant documents are strictly followed accordingly. Report any discrepancy or deviation from standard.
Report any change or involve in assessment of any change reported in the system, process or procedure as per standard change control procedure.
Manage risks to quality of products through out the product life cycle in line with principles of Quality Risk Management.
Report and record any observation, incident, non-conformity or deviation in the process or system as per the defined procedure and assure proper investigation is done to find the root cause and appropriate CAPA is taken.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION EDUCATION

BPharm/ MPharm or equivalent degree. Registration in Nepal Pharmacy Council is a must.

Must have knowledge and updates of relevant GMP regulations
Must have good knowledge of good documentation practices, knowledge of BPPR and COA
