The health care scenario in Nepal is dramatically changing with the emergence of several hospitals and medical colleges. This emerging new development across the land and National Drup Policy demand for providing safe and effective drugs, better pharmaceutical services and increased human resources in Pharmacy. Besides this, there is an urgent need to develop pharmacy faculty in the country. With this in mind Kathmandu University first time in Nepal launched MPharm program in September 2000.
