1. QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER
Job Description:
Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports to: Head of Department Quality Assurance
Status: Regular
Duty Station: Factory Office, Gaindakot, Nawalparasi
Authority: Exercises authorities as delegated by seniors that are related to QA Department within the norms and policies of the company
Functional Relationship: Work with/for the Factory pertaining to QA Department
Accountable to: Customers, Time Pharma Employees, Board of Directors and Shareholders of the company
Job Purpose
The QA Officer will work directly in support of the HOD QA on all activities related to Quality Assurance Department.
The QA Officer is a member of the Time Pharmaceuticals (P.) Ltd. team assisting for the improved and sustained performance and productivity of the company. The Officer must be able to demonstrate that the QA Department is a worthwhile component to contribute to achieve the Corporate Mission of the Company.
Essential Job Functions
The QA Officer shall perform the following job:
- To achieve quality goals with contribution in continual improvement.
- To perform routine jobs related to issue of Batch Manufacturing record (BMR), Formats, Log sheets, line clearance, crosscheck of BMR, Analytical worksheets and Finished products to ensure quality in product.
- To participate in the internal audit as auditee as per schedule and responsible for the follow up for the timely closure of the non conformances.
- To provide On-job and GMP trainings to employees, induction training to new employees and in plant training to trainees and assess their understanding of training and complete re-training wherever necessary.
- To actively participate in periodic QA activities such as calibrations, Air Handling Unit Validation.
- To actively participate in the implementation and documentation of deviation, change control, CAPA, Incidents, OOS, Customer complaints and nonconformities.
- To initiate preparations of documents such as MFRs, BMRs, Validations and Qualifications along with forms, templates and protocol and assist Head of Quality for their approvals.
- To prepare Weekly status report (QA), Monthly reports and to participate in evaluation of Key Performance Indicators of GMPs, Annual Product Review.
- To take periodic rounds in the Warehouse, Production, QC Lab, Maintenance and factory premises to verify that logs, BMRs and other data entries are concurrent with the process, operational data within the specifications and also GMPs/ GLPs/ GWPs and GHPs are followed.
- To perform online entry of DAMS-DDA as a part of regulatory requirement for registration of drug products.
- To support Risk Analysis projects through active participation.
- To evaluate affectivity of current SOPs and update them as necessary.
- To supervise and provide technical guidance to the subordinates of QA department.
- To assist Head of Quality Assurance analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
Compliance to policies, rules/regulations and guidelines
Adheres relevant policies, rules, regulations and guidelines of company (Personnel, Financial, Administrative policies, Security Guideline, Sexual Harassment Policy; Code of Conduct against Corruption etc.).
Required Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Pharmacy with 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Basic knowledgeable of GMP.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information
- Good organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at one time.
- Good knowledge and understanding of laws of Nepal related to employment;
- Good conflict resolution skills;

Functional Relationship: Work with/for the Factory Office pertaining to QC Components.
Accountable to: Customers, Time Pharma Employees, Board of Directors and Shareholders of the company
Job Purpose
The QC Officer will work directly in support of the Quality Control Manager on all activities related to Quality Control Department.
The QC Officer is a member of the Time Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. team assisting for the improvement and sustained performance and productivity of the company. The Officer must be able to demonstrate that his presence in QC Department is a worthwhile component to achieve Corporate Mission of the Company.
Essential Job Functions
The QC Officer shall perform the following job:
To achieve quality goals with contribution in continual improvement.
- To perform routine jobs related to QC Department which includes instrument calibration, water analysis, Sampling of finished products, intermediate products, packing materials and raw materials.
- Analyze the raw material and packing material in accordance with the established analytical procedures and prepare reports.
- Dispensing of raw materials and packing materials.
- Prepare reagents and standard solution for analysis.
- Responsible for cleanliness and discipline in the working areas.

The Officer must be able to demonstrate that the Production Department is a worthwhile component to contribute to achieve the Corporate Mission of the Company.
Essential Job Functions
The Production Officer shall perform the following job:
- To achieve quality goals with contribution in continual improvement.
- Organize and ensure that drug products are produced in accordance with the established production procedure and schedule.
- Ensure that the drug products are produced in accordance with the batch manufacturing record so as to improve production output.
- Ensure that all required equipments are always ready for use, clean and in good condition.
- Maintains cleanliness of equipments and working areas.
- Maintains the subordinate discipline, favorable working environment and assists the subordinates on technical matters.
- Contributes to continual improvement initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency/ effectiveness of GMP operation.
