Nepal Aushadhi Limited is Preparing 13 Medicines
The state-owned Nepal Aushadhi Limited is preparing to produce 13 more medicines. Aushadhi Limited is preparing to produce 13 more medicines including antibiotics used in various infections, medicines to prevent diseases caused by anemia in pregnant and lactating babies.
Mohammad Safiullah, general manager of the company, said that a file was sent to the Department of Drug Administration about six months ago for the production permit. He said that the drug production will start within a month after the department gives permission.
He said, “We have already sent the file to the Department of Drug Administration – DDA 6/7 months ago for permission to produce 13 more drugs.” The department has not given permission yet. We can produce as soon as we get permission. ‘
He said that he has the machine required for the production of these medicines. He said that various medicines can be produced by using Paracetamol making machine.
At present, Nepal Aushadhi Limited has been producing five products including Cetamol, Cetamol Plus, Jeevanjal and Glycerin. It is currently producing three-day cetamole in two days and up to three-day daily living water. Cetamol produces 320,000 packets of interest water and 12,000 packets of living water at one interest.
