Position: QC Manager (Head of QC)

Location: Semlar- 16, Butwal (Factory)

Qualification:

Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharma)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years as a QC Manager
At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical quality control department

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

Lead & manage the QC department to ensure adherence to all standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervise, mentor, and guide QC staff, ensuring their development and optimal performance.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee all QC activities, including raw material testing, in-process checks, and final product testing, to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all QC activities
Prepare and present reports on QC performance, quality issues, and other relevant metrics to senior management.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement within department and implement corrective & preventive actions to enhance overall quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments such as Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless operations and product quality.
Coordinate with external laboratories, suppliers, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all QC processes and procedures comply with regulations.
Lead and manage audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.

Position: QC OFFICERS / JUNIOR QC OFFICERS

Location: Semlar 16, Butwal

Qualification:
B.Pharma or B.Sc. Microbiology

Experience:

Experience in a pharmaceutical quality control department preferred but not mandatory

Key responsibilities:

Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, & finished products
Perform analytical testing using techniques like HPLC, GC, UV Spectroscopy
Accurately document test results and maintain records as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Assist in the preparation & review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Operate and maintain QC laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration
Report deviations or non-conformities in testing procedures or equipment
