Position: QC Manager (Head of QC)
Location: Semlar- 16, Butwal (Factory)
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharma)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a QC Manager
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical quality control department
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
- Lead & manage the QC department to ensure adherence to all standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide QC staff, ensuring their development and optimal performance.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee all QC activities, including raw material testing, in-process checks, and final product testing, to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all QC activities
- Prepare and present reports on QC performance, quality issues, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within department and implement corrective & preventive actions to enhance overall quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless operations and product quality.
- Coordinate with external laboratories, suppliers, and regulatory agencies as needed.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all QC processes and procedures comply with regulations.
- Lead and manage audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.
Position: QC OFFICERS / JUNIOR QC OFFICERS
Location: Semlar 16, Butwal
Qualification:
B.Pharma or B.Sc. Microbiology
Experience:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical quality control department preferred but not mandatory
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, & finished products
- Perform analytical testing using techniques like HPLC, GC, UV Spectroscopy
- Accurately document test results and maintain records as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Assist in the preparation & review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
- Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Operate and maintain QC laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration
- Report deviations or non-conformities in testing procedures or equipment
