Position: QC Manager (Head of QC)

Location: Semlar- 16, Butwal (Factory)

Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharma)

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years as a QC Manager
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical quality control department

Key Responsibilities:

 Leadership & Management

• Lead & manage the QC department to ensure adherence to all standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide QC staff, ensuring their development and optimal performance.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee all QC activities, including raw material testing, in-process checks, and final product testing, to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments.

 Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all QC activities
• Prepare and present reports on QC performance, quality issues, and other relevant metrics to senior management.

 Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement within department and implement corrective & preventive actions to enhance overall quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

 Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments such as Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless operations and product quality.
• Coordinate with external laboratories, suppliers, and regulatory agencies as needed.

 Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that all QC processes and procedures comply with regulations.
• Lead and manage audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.

Position: QC OFFICERS / JUNIOR QC OFFICERS

Location: Semlar 16, Butwal

Qualification:
B.Pharma or B.Sc. Microbiology

Experience:

• Experience in a pharmaceutical quality control department preferred but not mandatory

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, & finished products
• Perform analytical testing using techniques like HPLC, GC, UV Spectroscopy
• Accurately document test results and maintain records as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Assist in the preparation & review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Operate and maintain QC laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration
• Report deviations or non-conformities in testing procedures or equipment
